Myanmar military seizes power

Myanmar's military has seized power and declared a state of emergence for one year following days of escalating tensions over the result of the November's parliamentary election.

Aung San Suu Ky, the country's defactor leader, President Win Myint and other senior members of the National League for Democracy party where detained.

The Rohignya community have condemned the military power grab as an attempt to kill democracy.
