This time last year, swarms of desert locusts begun spreading across countries in the Horn of Africa, devastating crops and people's livelihoods.
Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) campaign appealed for urgent action to avoid a desert locust plague and looming humanitarian crisis. But one year on, has the war been won? On line is Cyril Ferrand, Resilience Team Leader for East Africa at FAO.
