President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to face the first motion of no confidence in his leadership in parliament next week.
The motion was filed by African Transformation Movement (ATM0 earlier this year.
Speaker Thandi Modise has agreed for the motion to be held next Thursday, but has rejected the ATM's call for secret ballot vote.
