Cape Town traffic police apprehended one suspect with a firearm after multiple people were shot at by gunmen at the station deck taxi rank in the city's CBD yesterday afternoon. Preliminary reports indicate that the shooting may be related to taxi violence. Taxi violence is nothing new in Cape Town, but it seems that authorities are struggling to get a grip on it.
