Childhood sexual abuse survivor speaks out about her experience in the wake of viral video

We all know the story of a brave young woman who came out to expose her grandfather for alleged sexual abuse on social media a month ago. It was gut-wrenching and painful to listen to but has sparked a massive conversation about sexual abuse being swept under the carpet in the Muslim community. VOC news editor Tasneem Adams wanted to catch up with her and her brother to hear what’s happened in the wake of all of this. (Note: For her well-being, we chose to edit out her name.)
