So we’ve seen lots of reaction to the story of a Cape Town woman who was handed a 10-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to 11 charges pertaining to a human trafficking syndicate in Cape Town. News24 reported that 32-year-old Camilla de Waal Rossouw was sentenced on Friday. The charges include kidnapping a minor, trafficking in person for sexual purposes and extortion amounting to more than R3-million. Rossouw is the tenth person to be sentenced from the syndicate, who ran brothels in Bellville, Big Bay, Milnerton and Table View.
