A study by the Human Science Research Council (HSRC) has revealed that Xenophobia is a serious problem in South Africa.
Hundreds of incidents of anti-immigrant hate crime have been reported in the past decade, and to address this the government launched the National Action Plan to combat Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance in 2019.
So how can SA best tackle Xenophobia and prejudice against migrants.?
On line is for comment is senior research specialist at the Human Science Research Council (HSRC), Steven Gordon.
