Disgraced Steinhoff CEO Markus Jooste fined R122 million

Disgraced former Steinhoff CEO Markus Jooste has been fined R122million by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).

According to an FSCA report, Jooste had shared inside information to those close to him to dispose off their shares.

South African authorities have faced criticism for not taking action against the executives despite an PWC report that found wrong doing.
