The Afro-Middle East Centre (AMEC) will host a webnar looking into US-Africa Command operations that is set to expand.
The US- Africa Command has been operating on the continent since 2008, and currently undertakes operations or training exercises in almost all African countries, with bases in 27 countries of them.
With no African country currently opposing Africom's advance, it is poised to expand operations over the next 5 years.
So what is the US agenda for the expansion of Africom? What challenges does it pose to Africans? How complicit are Africans governments with this agenda?
