Auto Series: Kick-Starting in a post COVID world

For the past three months auto sales have been negligible, with volumes improving gradually month-on-month. With the country now opening up, people, aware of social distancing norms, are shifting gears to buy their private vehicles. If a recent auto survey is to be believed, auto sales are going to pick up pace post the lockdown, though there could be higher demand for cheaper pre-owned cars. At the budget end, two-wheelers are also expected to witness better demand with more Indians preferring to commute two-wheelers over public transport.
