During the lockdown - one of the biggest sectors in South Africa - which has been in many ways forgotten by government and the private sector are freelancers. These are people in the gig economy who live basically from month to month based on the work and project they are able to do. In this feature our reporter Katleho Sekhotho speaks to Lynne Smit who is the Chair of the Southern African Freelancers' Association as well as Jack Devnarain who is an actor and chair of the SA Guild of Actors.
