On #TheCovidReport today we look at funerals during the corona virus pandemic. Traditional healer Gogo mpho Mopeli calls on government to allow families to burry their loved ones according to their customs and religion. Speaking to Game Bovana and Siphosihle Mbuli on the Covid Report Mopeli says we risk having ancestors returning to haunt the living because certain burial rites were not followed. Meanwhile another guest on The Covid Report, Siphumeze Khundayi, a cultural activist and theatre practitioner who has travelled most of Africa exploring different cultures & customs says that tradition has to change with the times changes.
