Lobby groups call on NERSA to probe City of Cape Town's high electricity tariffs

Lobby groups want the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) to listen to the plight of consumers who are struggling to keep up with the City of Cape Town exorbitant electricity tarrifs. Now the call come after the City ignored objections received during the public participation process and implemented the increase without the approval of Nersa.
