So this week, we feature Temba Godi, his political party, the African People's Convention has a seat in parliament

• Godi is a former PAC member, former teacher
• It is a very small political party, in the previous general elections, 2014, about 36 thousand people voted for the party
• The APC has benefitted from proportional representation
• Has he party launched its manifesto? It is not on their website
About Themba Godi
Mr Godi was born 10 August 1966 in a village called Matsabana, near Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga. He is one of the founding members of the African People’s Convention (APC) that was established in 2007.
• He joined the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) while studying teaching at the University of the North (now known as the University of Limpopo). He has served as ordinary member and a leader before forming the APC in 2007.
He practiced teaching until 2000, when he became a fulltime organiser for the APC. Godi became a Member of Parliament in 2004 and sat in Portfolio Committees such as Trade and Industry, Labour, Social Development, and Education. He became the Chairperson for the Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) in February 2005
