South African Actor, Producer, industrial theatre specialist, Motivational speaker, MC and Arts concept developer.
As a South African actor he is best known for his starring role in the film Tsotsi, which won the Academy Award for Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards.

He claims that despite several possible opportunities overseas, he refused to move to America after his Oscar win in 2006 because he did not want to end up on the streets of Los Angeles broke and homeless. Before getting the role of Tsotsi Presley was enrolled at Tshwane University of Technology. While studying he would go to auditions. He had gotten some roles in plays and adverts. He then auditioned for Tsotsi. A week after his audition he got a call that he got the role. Tsotsi was realeased in 2005 and was Presley’s first Film.

Presley Chweneyagae started attending children drama classes and acting at the tender age of 10 at the North West Arts Council (now known as The Mmabana Arts Culture and Sports Foundation). Since then he portrayed roles in stage plays like “Jack in the box”; “The Grandball”; “Dikeledi” an adaptation of a Greek tragedy, “Electra” where he played Orestess.

American actor Morocco Omari, who stars in the popular drama series Empire, says he would love to work with talented South African actors and his list inlcudes Presley.
