Following a very long battle with cancer (during which time he lost his job), Lisa's husband tragically passed away last month of a sudden heart attack.
Under the financial strain of their medical expenses, Lisa, who’d always been a stay-at-home mom, now finds herself urgently needing to find work.
Between raising her two kids; a 22-year-old son in University and a 19-year-old daughter who is looking for work, and caring for an ailing husband, upgrades/maintenance to their home have fallen by the wayside. Lisa’s oven, which is over 40 years old, recently broke down and is irreparable.
Hot Cares will be supplying and installing a new eye level oven for Lisa, groceries to help ease the monthly bills; and as a treat, Monte Casino has arranged an evening out for the family which will include movies and dinner for a bit of fun in this difficult time.
