Thank you for listening to the TechCentral podcast. In this episode, Duncan McLeod is joined via an Internet call by Craig Mc Gregor, co-founder of DStoq, a new, global, blockchain-based stock exchange, which will be launched in the coming months.
DStoq plans to use the blockchain to create a much more efficient and lower-cost entry, in relation to existing stock exchanges, for companies looking to raise capital.
Cape Town-based Mc Gregor, whose background is in asset management, explains the regulations around launching the DStoq platform, which markets the company intends to focus on and how it plans to facilitate transactions in both crypto and fiat money.
What will the process be for companies wanting to list on DStoq, who is it aimed at and what are the technical and security challenges that have to be overcome?
It's a great podcast. Don't miss it!
