Thank you for listening to the TechCentral podcast. In this episode, Duncan McLeod chats to former Business Connexion chief technology officer Andy Brauer, who has struck out on his own with a new venture that is looking to build and commercialise a "reversible" hydrogen fuel cell that he believes could help shake up the energy market for both industry and ordinary consumers. Brauer is working with academics and investors in a consortium to bring the fuel cell to market in the next 18 months. The Rigel Fuel Cell, as it's called, can produce hydrogen in one direction and, if reversed, can create electricity. It's another sign that innovation is alive and well in South Africa. Don't miss this podcast!
