The report suggests that the video games market has grown 10.7% year on year from 2013 to 2014 and has in fact overtaken the music industry by a few hundred million Rands. Desmond also touches on the growth of social and mobile gaming, as well as the top 9 grossing iPhone apps in South Africa. Gaming is an industry that continues to grow and South Africa is no exception to this.
