Rodney John McCurdy is a former first-class cricketer who played for Rodney John McCurdy, a former first-class cricketer, represented Australia along with teams such as Border, Derbyshire, Eastern Province, Natal, South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria. Now residing in Hoedspruit, South Africa, he remains closely connected to the sport.

A fast bowler, McCurdy played in 11 One Day Internationals during the mid-1980s and later took part in the South African rebel tours of 1985.
