The Blitzboks will be targeting history this weekend as they seek to win the iconic Hong Kong Sevens for the first-time ever.
It’s the one title on the Sevens World Series that has eluded the Springbok Sevens team in the past after reaching the Cup final on four occasions.
The last time was in 2017 when they were beaten 22-0 by the 19-time champions, Fiji.
During the Vancouver 7’s in Canada the Blitzboks were beaten 19-12 in the final, and the coach Philip Snyman, said they have worked on a couple of things.
