Something of note that we thought let's bring it to the light and talk about it is the chair of the CRL Rights Commission, Mrs Toku Makwanasi-Gravula, who announced that she's forming a committee to push legislation through Parliament to implement a system for the state to regulate religion. You heard me right. So in a recent interview on News Africa, she proposed the establishment of a state-appointed peer review committee determined to, whether not grant individuals a license to work as religious practitioners or to operate as a church and have the authority to suspend or dismiss religious leaders found guilty of wrongdoing. That in itself is a debate for another day. But with this in mind, we approached the CEO of Freedom of Religion South Africa, Michael Swain, to ask him a lot of questions with regards to the state's intention to regulate religion then in South Africa. Don't stray or go away. We'll have Mr. Michael Swain online right after this.
