Coming out of the 4 Nations Face-off, Mitch Marner was one of the MVP's of that tournament in many people's eyes. We have come to find out that the Toronto Maple Leafs asked Marner to move his no-trade clause and accept a trade to Carolina. Marner refused. And now many speculate that there could have been some damage done in the relationship between Marner and the Leafs with contract negotiations coming up soon.
