Sizwe's got a cold sore!

Over the weekend, Sizwe Dhlomo spent time with his family in KZN to celebrate his sister's birthday. Before coming back, his upper lip started itching. The following day, he went to a pharmacy and was given an ointment to apply on what was now clearly a fully-fledged cold sore. He's been walking around and people thinking the white thing he applied on his upper lip is there by mistake. The recollected using things like gentian violet, calamine, plasters, as kids and how as adults, they seem embarrassing and you'd rather not deal with it. They asked, how do you handle a cold sore or other embarrassing things that need you to explain.
