Since their start in 1986 in New York, the band has been nominated for multiple Grammy awards, sold more than 15-million albums worldwide, and had major chart success. Their most popular single, 'Iris', spent 11 months on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the number one song on Billboard's Top 100 Pop Songs 1992 - 2012 chart.
