Elections 2024 : Episode 31 : Private operators can save SA's rail network

With just days to go before South Africans cast their votes, people are worried that the country's failing rail network means the economy will continue to struggle while even more trucks clog our roads.

Now, experts are urging government to move ahead with plans to let private operators run parts of SA's rail system after years of broken promises.
