Award-winning author Siphiwe Gloria Ndlovu has told HOT1027 News the main character in her latest book was based on her grandfather, as a way to immortalize his integrity.

"The Quality of Mercy” has been short-listed for this year’s edition of the Sunday Times Literary Awards in partnership with Exclusive books.

It’s a moving love story that straddles Rhodesia’s transition to post colonial Zimbabwe .
