What a month August has been, my goodness, absolute thriller of a month, for women by women. Banyana Banyana’s heroic performances at the Fifa Women’s World Cup in Australia/ New Zealand were there for us all to delight in, but I tell you what, there at a few women at SAFA, putting in the work, away from the cameras and the spotlight, to see to it our women football grows significantly. One of them is none other than SAFA's Head Of Women Football, Romaney Pinnock and my word, her CV reads like that of a movie script. A FIFA Master in the Management, Law and Humanities of Sport, an MSc with a focus on Ecotoxicology from the University of Siena, and a Medical Honours and BSc in Genetics, both from the University of Cape Town. As well as being a Director of Badgers Football Academy, Pinnock has held the roles of COO of The Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation, Programme Manager for the Western Cape Education Department and has been a
