The onsite consumption of liquor in restaurants, nightclubs and taverns across Limpopo have no choice but to adjust to the new law effective from the 1st of August. Limpopo Economic Development and Environment MEC Rodgers Monama told Nghamula Chauke that the Limpopo Liquor Act will ensure that night clubs, taverns, shebeens and restaurants that sell alcohol are closed by midnight. He says this will also serve as another method of reducing the skyrocketing GBV numbers in the province.
