Aspiritual, soulful singer, a qualified web designer, journalist,
entrepreneur,THEMBEKA KHUMALO also known as TABIA is well grounded
lady from Soweto - Diepkloof. Tabia pursued her musical journey from the
tender age of 14 years after she won singing competition(2008), being in well
capable hands and mentor Liesl from a popular known group called Jamale
paved a way of an adventurous musical journey.
Tabia’s musical style can be defined as spiritual,highly rich lyrical
content,uplifting, energetic music which is well crafted delivered in the purest
natural African voice. Tabia is a highly gifted singer and song writer with a
well-balanced versatile style ranging from Afro Soul, RnB, House Muisc, give
her any house beat she can freestyle.
She became a professional backing vocalist for a South African legend Sipho
Hotstix Mabuse in 2009 where she did her 1st professional show and through
working with him she began to meet and work with other artists such as
Maleh, Mafikizolo, Camagwini, Moneoa to mention just a few.
In 2018 Tabia released her first offering called THE JOURNEY that contains
soulful and intimate songs full of emotional and spiritual content. She has
worked on her craft, writing, arranging her own music and sound for almost
2years while she was in a self-discovery journey, LOVE, LIFE and CHALLENGES
