
Liquor Act: Issue is implementation

The Ministry of Industrialization and Trade, through the Directorate of Commerce, continues to conduct nationwide engagements with relevant stakeholders to inform, educate and communicate the critical subjects of administering the Liquor Act, Act no 6 of 1998, the recently launched National Consumer Protection Policy as well as the Consumer Protection Bill together with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Facilitation Bill. The Ministry is taking the public stakeholder consultations to the northern and western regions namely Oshikoto, Ohangwena, Omusati and Oshana and Erongo.
