The Namibian economy is expected to grow by three percent this year, followed by 3.2 percent in 2023, according to the International Monetary Fund, IMF. Real GDP growth will be supported by diamond, gold and uranium production, and the recovery of the tourism sector. Economist, Gabriel Erastus reacted to the reported growth and said to In The Newsroom Namibia should look at a growth of 30%.
