The Cancer Association of Namibia will soon start construction on its new Palliative Care Unit in the capital. The unit will be constructed at a cost of 10 million Namibian dollars. Palliative care is an interdisciplinary medical caregiving approach aimed at optimising the quality of life and mitigating suffering among people with serious, complex, and often terminal illnesses.
