Former Liverpool striker Sadio Mane has certainly had a memorable week. It all started with the Senegalese international making his debut for his new club Bayern Munich against D.C United in a pre-season friendly. Mane then slotted home a penalty to secure his first goal for the Bavarian giants. Mane was then awarded the CAF Men’s Player of the Year for the second time running (2022 and 2019 as 2020 and 2021 were canceled due to the CoronaVirus). New Bayern signing Matthijs de Ligt was also on the score sheet with Sadio Mane.
