The Kunene Elephant Walk is a non-profit organization that aims to help conserve the unique population of desert-adapted elephants through research, monitoring, raising awareness about both the ecological and economic importance of Namibia’s rare desert-adapted elephants and threats to their survival on a local, national and international level, and raising funds for conflict prevention projects. The walk started on Tuesday and ends on Sunday.
