
LPO chief says Meatco fiasco can be turned around, if there is will

The chairman of the Livestock Producers Organisation, Thinus Pretorius says that Meatco is unable to pay its producers and he has accused the company of not being able to do good business. He adds that it is "unfortunate" that 120 million Namibian dollars in working capital must now be used to invest in infrastructure that already exists - in the form of Meatco. But, Pretorius says all is not over and there is a possibility to turn things around... if there is will. He chats to In the Newsroom...
