Drugs are becoming a real and dire threat in Namibia

Space cookies and the use of cannabis and other drugs have become a trend in the country and the target is mostly our youth. The Namibian Police have been arresting suspected drug dealers that sell these so-called 'space cakes' that contain cannabis. But, there is concern because the force says that buyers are not always informed of the contents of the cookies which can lead to serious risk, especially for younger children. Drugs overall are a major challenge and young people are most vulnerable. NamPol's Chief Inspector Elifas Kuwinga spoke to In the Newsroom.
