Education under the spotlight

Considering the global education challenges, the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has announced the hosting of of the Transforming Education Summit to be held in September this year. The summit will be a high level meeting which will provide an opportunity to mobilize greater political ambition, and commitment to accelerate progress on education and the 2030 Agenda. Deputy Executive Director in the Ministry of Education, Edda Bohn spoke to In the Newsroom about inclusive, equitable and quality education.
