Ministry says about Groendraai Primary School

The education ministry has provided more information on the funding delays to Groendraai Primary School. The school, 60-odd kilometres southwest of Rehoboth, has 238 children in a community hostel. Funding was halted last year after alleged misappropriation was uncovered but, tot date, the school is expected to operate and teach, house and feed the children. Funding will soon be restored. The executive director in the ministry, Sanet Steenkamp speaks to In the Newsroom.
