A UNAM student has decided to research on Otters on the Okavango River. Laina Abiatar who is in her final year of her masters, studying Biodiversity Management, is interested in any sightings of either Clawless or Spotted-neck Otters. Abiatar while speaking to In the Newsroom shared her fascination about Otters and asked members of the public in the areas of her focus to help with the research since her time is short.
