Youth violence on senior citizens shocking

Over the weekend a video of a 19 year-old teenager fighting with her 70 year-old grandmother, Lusia Nepolo, started making the rounds on social media. The incident that took place at Oshuungu village in the Omusati region, shocked the country. This came after official opposition leader, McHenry Venaani, last week in the National Assembly, spoke about how young people mistreat senior citizens and how they misuse elderly citizen's pension money, especially in the villages. In the Newsroom spoke to Chief Social Worker of the Ministry of Health in Omusati Region, Nelao Shatiwa, to find out whether these incidents are reported more and what contributes to such behaviour.
