As the first half of the PSL season comes to a close, Mamelodi Sundowns top the table with 44 points (14 points above second-placed Orlando Pirates), and at this stage of the 2021/2022 season, Sundowns are looking like they will retain their PSL crown. Peter Shalulile seems to be in fine form as the Namibian sees his name topping the goal-scoring list. Sundowns have managed to score 33 goals while only conceding 9. The stat that has everyone talking about, is the fact that the Brazilians have only lost 1 game out of the 19 that they have played. The question that is running through everybody’s mind is, can Sundowns be caught?
