A strong Bayern Munich were left stunned by FC Augsburg this past weekend as the reigning Bundesliga Champions failed to claim points, losing 2-1. Pads Pederson opened the scoring for the home side in the 23rd minute, with his teammate Andre Hahn doubling the score in the 35th. Bayern’s Lewandowski brought one back for Munich in the 38th minute, however, that is how the score stayed for the rest of the match. Bayern Munich clearly dominated the stats with 80% ball possession and they managed to string together well over 700 passes, however they could find the final ball to provide Augsburg with a setback.
