Bayern Munich’s hot run of form seems to be a recurring trend after they beat Benfica in the UEFA Champions League 5-2, with star striker Robert Lewandowski netting a hattrick and almost a fourth. The reigning Bundesliga champions came up against Freiburg SC in a League match this past weekend with no one knowing what the outcome would be, as Freiburg were the only unbeaten team in the league before this Bayern match-up. However, Robert Lewandowski's formidable form continued as he netted a goal in the 75th minute to give Bayern maximum points. Freiburg managed a consolation goal in the 93rd minute and Leon Goretzka scored his goal in the 30th. Bayern emerged victorious, as Freiburg suffered their first defeat of the League, 2-1.
