The first Soweto Derby of the 2021/2022 DStv Premiership season has come and gone with Kaizer Chiefs claiming the bragging rights, and gaining maximum points. Although some are saying the Amakhosi’s performance was mediocre, 3 points is 3 points and the Glamour Boys now sit in 6th place, one spot above their Sowetan neighbors. Speaking on the Fan Reaction Show, one Chiefs fan rated the performance as a 6 out of 10, another fan mentioned that the only thing he is happy about is the 3 points. Other fans mentioned that Chiefs played incredibly well and the victory was well deserved. A very mixed bag of opinions, but one thing stays in common, a victory against your rivals will always be sweet. Keagan Dolly managed a brace during the match, thanks to two penalties awarded to Chiefs.
