When Shabana was just seven years old, her mother betrayed her trust by taking her to be cut. The procedure and the practice known as FGM, is cloaked in silence but has effected 200 million girls globally. Shabana vulnerably shares her story, her trauma and how working to end FGM and FGMC is a fight we all need to get involved in.
