29-04-2021 - About the Show: The Burmese army siezed control of the country in a coup at the beginning of 2021. Free Burma Rangers director, David Eubank works on the frontlines bringing humanitarian and medical help to those in Burma caught up in the violence on the Burmese streets. Hundreds of civilians have been killed in the past few weeks, and over a million people in Burma, have been displaced. David joins Lauren to discuss events on the ground in Burma and what being a special forces captain has taught him about God, justice, and forgiveness. Bio: The Free Burma Rangers (FBR) is a multi-ethnic humanitarian service movement working to bring help, hope and love to people in the conflict zones of Burma, Iraq, and Sudan. Working in conjunction with local ethnic pro-democracy groups, FBR trains, supplies, and later coordinates with what become highly mobile multipurpose relief teams. After training these teams provide critical emergency medical care, shelter, food, clothing and human rights documentation in their home regions. Director, missionary and special forces captain David Eubank is on the show.
