SAIA says the process of buying an insurance policy involves two parties who are entering into a contract and the two parties are: the insurance company and the Policyholder. SAIA says furthermore, the principle of the utmost Good Faith legally obliges the two parties to act honestly and not provide misleading or withhold critical information from one another and it says this is information that could influence the other party not to enter the contract. It says the principle assures both parties that the transaction or interaction is ethical and trustworthy.
