US defends not sanctioning MBS

The Joe Biden administration has finally authorised the release of the report about the 2018 murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Kashoggi.

However, in allowing the report to be released, Biden has not overlooked the US- Saudi relations politically, economically and militarily but instead opted not to sanction Crown prince Bin Salman for his alleged role in Kashoggi murder.

So does the Kashoggi killing blocks the path to the throne for Bin Salman.?
